This was originally meant as an opening to the album and one of the earlier tracks to be sketched out, but as the whole suite took shape it made more sense to place this here. The lost identities refer to how we have trouble communicating to each other in both virtual and real worlds. No matter how wonderful our technology and the possibilities of how to use it, we must still connect with each other as human beings. Let’s not forget that.
